Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They let a site remember something between one page and the next — most importantly, that you are signed in.

Sempo uses only the cookies the product needs to work. None of them track you across other sites, and none are used for analytics or advertising:

• Sign-in cookies, set by Clerk, our authentication provider. They identify your browser to Clerk and, once you sign in, keep your session until it ends. Without them you cannot sign in or stay signed in.
• A preference cookie that remembers whether you have collapsed the sidebar, so it does not reopen on every page. It holds nothing about you.

Browsing the marketing pages and the journal sets no cookies at all. Clerk’s cookies are set on the pages where signing in is possible — the sign-in and sign-up pages, the documentation, and the product itself — including for a visitor who does not go on to sign in.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking the sign-in cookies means you cannot stay signed in to Sempo.

If Sempo starts using cookies for anything else, this policy will say so before it happens, and the date at the top will change.
